Terms of Service

By creating an InvoiceOS account or using the InvoiceOS application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

InvoiceOS is a software tool that helps freelancers and small agencies create invoices, track multi-currency income, and compute India-specific tax figures (including Section 44ADA presumptive tax, advance tax, GST, TDS, and capital gains computations).

InvoiceOS is a computation and record-keeping tool. It is not a chartered accountant, tax advisor, or legal professional, and nothing in the app constitutes professional tax, legal, or financial advice.

Tax computations (including Section 44ADA, advance tax, regime comparisons, GST, TDS reconciliation, and capital gains) are provided to help you estimate and organize your filings. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings and for verifying computations with a qualified Chartered Accountant before filing or making payments to tax authorities. InvoiceOS is not liable for penalties, interest, or losses arising from reliance on in-app computations without independent professional verification.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite (on Studio plans).

• InvoiceOS offers a Free plan and paid Pro/Studio plans, billed monthly or annually through Razorpay.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• You can cancel a paid subscription at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Prices shown are exclusive of applicable GST, which is added at checkout.

You retain full ownership of the invoices, client data, and financial records you enter into InvoiceOS ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any third-party data (such as client details) into the platform.

You agree not to:

• Use InvoiceOS for any unlawful purpose, including tax evasion or fraud.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another workspace's data.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the platform without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

If you generate a read-only access token for your accountant, you are responsible for revoking it when no longer needed. InvoiceOS is not responsible for actions taken by third parties you have granted access to.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to the platform. On termination, we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, except where retention is legally required.

InvoiceOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceOS and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including penalties or losses arising from tax filings, arising out of your use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
